Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing and providing necessary tools and materials.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Take and develop dental X-rays according to patient treatment plans and dentist instructions.
• Educate patients on their treatment plans and oral health maintenance.
• Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and send follow-up reminders to enhance patient care experience.
• Support administrative tasks including handling patient inquiries and processing insurance claims.
• Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure efficient and optimal patient care.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification in X-ray procedures and patient care.
• Previous dental assistant experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with dental software and technology is a plus.
