Designer – Accessories

Tasks

• Create original, brand-right accessories designs that align with creative direction and business goals.
• Develop product concepts, sketches, prototypes, and specifications with a focus on style, functionality, and materials.
• Research market trends, analyze competitors, and identify new sources of creative inspiration.
• Present designs and trend insights to internal leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Merchandising and Product Development to bring concepts to life.
• Incorporate feedback, solve design challenges, and ensure products meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Requirements

• Portfolio Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of design experience in a comparable retail environment.
• Direct accessories design experience is required.
• Strong fashion sense with an eye for commercial product styling, detail, and performance.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience creating original design sketches and successful product lines.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Centric and technical design (TD) is a plus.

Schedule

• 6-Month Contract; could extend
• This designer will support the accessories design team during the holiday season.

Pay

• $46.90/hour
