Disability Support Specialist in Casablanca, Morocco

Zakaria is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Specialist to join our team in Méchouar de Casablanca, Casablanca-Settat, Morocco. In this full-time role, you will empower individuals with disabilities by providing personalized support and fostering an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to clients with disabilities, supporting daily activities and goal achievement.
• Develop and implement customized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences.
• Facilitate effective communication among clients, their families, and support professionals.
• Document and monitor client progress, ensuring care plans are followed and updated as needed.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate clients’ evolving needs and adjust support accordingly.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to maintain best practices in disability support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; additional education in social services or related fields is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• Experience in caregiving or support roles, especially with individuals with disabilities, is preferred.
• Proficiency with documentation and communication software tools.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience is a plus.
