Subarna is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Dollar General Store Associate for a part-time, in-person position in Tampa, Florida. Help create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, keeping the store organized, and supporting daily retail operations. Pay is $36 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide helpful, approachable service.
- Keep the store clean and organized, and ensure products are displayed properly.
- Stock shelves and assist with inventory checks and other inventory tasks.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately at the register.
- Answer customer questions and address concerns professionally and promptly.
- Work with teammates to support sales targets and store goals.
- Help promote special offers and participate in promotional events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Previous retail experience is a plus but is not required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
