Ram Hand to Hand Couriers is seeking a reliable Driver and General Worker to support courier and logistics operations in Cape Town. This role combines package delivery with loading, unloading, and general warehouse support. The position is full-time and offers a stated salary of ZAR 6,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely to deliver packages to assigned locations.
- Inspect vehicles and complete routine safety and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload packages and assist with other physically demanding tasks.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Support warehouse operations, including inventory management, as needed.
- Coordinate with team members and clients about delivery schedules and issues.
- Follow traffic laws and workplace safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver's license.
- Driving experience; courier or delivery experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Ability to lift packages and perform physical work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage.
Team and Work Environment
Report to the Operations Manager and work collaboratively with drivers and warehouse staff. This is an on-site role in Cape Town, Western Cape.
