John is hiring a skilled Dump Truck Operator for full-time employment at the Impala Platinum Mine in North West, South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials within the mine site, supporting critical mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently across the mine site.
• Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Load, transport, and unload materials as directed by site supervisors.
• Maintain accurate transport logs and comply with all operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations to minimize risks on site.
• Participate in routine equipment maintenance and promptly report mechanical issues.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education: Grade 10/12.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks, preferably in mining or construction.
• Relevant heavy machinery operating certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with mining industry software and machinery is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of dump truck operation experience in a mining or construction environment.

Work in a modern technical environment with advanced dump trucks, collaborating closely with operators and site supervisors. Report directly to the Site Supervisor and coordinate across departments to ensure smooth workflow and safety compliance.

Salary: 12000 ZAR per month
