JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Ecommerce Architect

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Shift Time: 8 AM to 5 PM EST (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST)

• Minimum 10+ years total experience with at least 6+ years relevant experience in ecommerce architecture.
• Expertise in Adobe Commerce / Magento architecture, preferably with large-scale, high-traffic ecommerce platforms.
• Proven experience designing composable and federated commerce architectures, decoupling catalog, pricing, inventory, promotions, identity, and checkout functionalities.
• Strong API architecture skills including REST, GraphQL, event-driven integrations, middleware, and API gateways.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe ecosystem technologies such as Adobe Commerce, Adobe Commerce Optimizer/Catalog Service, AEM/Edge Delivery Services, and App Builder/API Mesh.
• Deep understanding of ecommerce domains: catalog, pricing, inventory, promotions, customer identity, cart, and order management.
• Experience integrating ecommerce systems with ERP, PIM, OMS, promotion engines, identity platforms, and other enterprise systems; SAP integration experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to architect solutions for high availability, scalability, performance, resiliency, caching, and graceful degradation at enterprise ecommerce scale.
• Skilled in defining target architecture, integration patterns, technical standards, migration strategies, and phased modernization roadmaps.
• Strong technical leadership with the ability to collaborate across product, engineering, enterprise architecture, SAP/integration teams, security, and vendor partners.
• Technically hands-on to review solution designs, APIs, data models, integration flows, and major implementation decisions.

Compensation: $95000 per year
