Job description
Role: Ecommerce Architect (Adobe Experience Platform and Magento)
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This is an onsite, full-time position.
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST).
About the Role
sridhar is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Architect to design and guide enterprise-scale Adobe Commerce and Magento solutions. You will shape composable and federated commerce architecture, modernize integrations, and help deliver reliable, high-performing ecommerce experiences.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Bring 10+ years of total experience, including 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Apply strong Adobe Commerce and Magento architecture experience, ideally with large-scale, high-traffic ecommerce platforms.
- Design composable and federated commerce architectures, decoupling catalog, pricing, inventory, promotions, identity, and checkout capabilities.
- Define API architectures and integration patterns using REST, GraphQL, event-driven integrations, middleware, and API gateways.
- Work across Adobe technologies such as Adobe Commerce, Adobe Commerce Optimizer/Catalog Service, AEM/Edge Delivery Services, and App Builder/API Mesh.
- Understand key ecommerce domains, including catalog, pricing, inventory, promotions, customer identity, cart, and orders.
- Integrate ecommerce platforms with ERP, PIM, OMS, promotion engines, identity platforms, and other enterprise systems. SAP experience is highly preferred.
- Design for enterprise-scale availability, scalability, performance, resilience, caching, and graceful degradation.
- Define target architecture, technical standards, migration strategies, and phased modernization roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Product, engineering, enterprise architecture, SAP and integration teams, security, and vendors.
- Review solution designs, APIs, data models, integration flows, and major implementation decisions with technical depth.
Compensation and Employment
Annual pay: 95000 per year.
