About the role
Kopahawakenum Community School is seeking caring, dependable, and motivated Education Assistants to support student learning and well-being in a positive and inclusive school environment.
Education Assistants work closely with teachers, school staff, students, and families to help create meaningful learning experiences for all students.
Tasks
- Support teachers with classroom activities and instructional materials.
- Assist individual students and small groups with learning activities.
- Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support student supervision during classroom, recess, lunch, and bus duties.
- Assist with literacy, numeracy, and student engagement activities.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.
- Follow school policies, safety procedures, and administrative direction.
