Job description
About the role
Groupleonardo is recruiting for a client in Afungi. The role involves coordinating and supervising electrical installation activities at the site.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor, and follow up the site electrical work programme.
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly progress against planned targets.
- Coordinate and supervise electrical installation activities and manage site personnel and subcontractor teams.
- Coordinate electrical activities with other disciplines and project teams.
- Prepare daily progress and site reports.
- Monitor electrical installation works for compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Support the planning and execution of electrical works in line with project milestones.
- Follow up manpower, materials, equipment, and work fronts required for electrical installation activities.
- Ensure site activities comply with applicable HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical installation or construction works.
- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, LNG, energy, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding construction environment and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.
- Willingness to work in a multicultural and international project environment.
- Advantageous qualifications include experience in LNG, Oil & Gas, or industrial projects; knowledge of IEC standards and electrical installation practices; awareness of ATEX requirements; knowledge of Navisworks; experience with international contractors or multinational project teams; and experience in large-scale construction.
