Job description
About the role
VGCS is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support the design, planning, coordination, and implementation of electrical and MEPFS works for construction projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical plans, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Prepare electrical load schedules, load computations, and related calculations.
- Assist in designing and planning electrical systems for construction projects.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, circuit layouts, and other electrical documentation.
- Coordinate electrical plans with architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical, and other MEPFS disciplines.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies and potential design or construction issues.
- Conduct site inspections and verify actual site conditions against approved plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other project personnel.
- Monitor electrical works for compliance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Assist with material take-offs, estimates, and technical evaluation of electrical materials and equipment.
- Assist in resolving technical concerns, revisions, and site-related electrical issues.
Requirements
- Graduate of Electrical Engineering.
- Licensed or non-licensed; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Knowledge of electrical design, load calculations, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with MEPFS coordination is an advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus.
- Able to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to conduct site inspections.
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to start immediately.
