Job description
Maxus Technology USA LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Tualatin, OR. We specialize in innovative electrical engineering solutions and are looking for a dedicated professional to lead high-voltage substation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support substation projects up to 765kV, including physical and protection & controls design.
- Develop detailed drawings, schematics, layouts, relay panel wiring, grounding, and auxiliary power systems.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of design packages and mentor junior engineers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams to maintain technical excellence.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and specifications for procurement and construction phases.
- Support business development efforts by presenting proposals and designs to clients.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage (69 kV and above) substation design for U.S. power utilities.
- Experience as a project lead or technical specialist.
- Strong skills in QA/QC and client coordination.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
