Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in City Centre, TAB. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and cable routing, performing routine inspections, and diagnosing issues in circuits and components. The role involves troubleshooting faults, completing preventive maintenance, documenting all work performed, and coordinating with supervisors, other trades, and clients to ensure minimal downtime. The Electrician will also support upgrades, compliance checks, and emergency call-outs as needed.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work skills.Candidates should possess maintenance & repair skills for electrical systems and equipment.Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical faults safely.Candidates should possess a foundation in electrical engineering principles relevant to installations and system design.Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in electrical work, with valid local certifications or licenses.Demonstrated understanding of electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and installation manuals.Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a team.Experience in residential or commercial electrical projects and willingness to respond to occasional after-hours call-outs.
