About the role
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking an Enterprise Platforms Infrastructure Manager to manage, maintain, and support the organization's enterprise Intel-based computers, servers, mobile devices, applications, directory services, databases, utilities, equipment, and solutions.
The role includes planning, organizing, communicating, analyzing, evaluating, designing, testing, researching, securing, and implementing technology solutions, as well as establishing technical standards, policies, procedures, and requirements for enterprise systems. The manager develops, presents, manages, and implements policies, solutions, and projects.

Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, coordinate, organize, and assign work for the current and future requirements of assigned areas.
- Manage day-to-day IT operations to improve infrastructure costs and performance and ensure end-user satisfaction.
- Plan hardware and software upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Prepare documentation to help staff perform software, operating system, and system firmware upgrades.
- Research and recommend upgrades needed to maintain supported versions.
- Analyze enterprise problems and opportunities and use technical expertise to provide innovative, cost-effective solutions that reflect business or clinical needs, with an emphasis on reducing downtime.
