Estimation Engineer

About the role

an authorized channel partner and system house of ABB Ltd., specializes in LV Panel Manufacturing, Electrical Automation, and industrial electrical solutions.

Tasks

• Study customer enquiries, BOQs, SLDs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare costing and quotations for PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, VFD, PLC, control panels, and junction boxes.
• Prepare BOMs and obtain component pricing from vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare techno-commercial offers, including scope of supply, delivery terms, and commercial conditions.
• Coordinate with design, purchase, production, and vendors.
• Review customer POs, maintain costing sheets, and ensure timely submission of quotations.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–6 Years
• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Good knowledge of electrical panels and industrial electrical components.
• Ability to understand SLDs, BOQs, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of ABB, Schneider, Siemens, LT, Eaton, Phoenix Contact, and other electrical brands will be preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Good communication, coordination, and costing accuracy.
• Electrical panel design knowledge will be an added advantage.
