Experienced Freight Forwarder

About the role

Rmgstaffing is looking for professionals to manage international shipments from booking to delivery. The role offers the opportunity to handle larger accounts, support Level I colleagues and grow toward Assistant Manager opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage air and ocean shipments from booking to delivery.
• Handle AWB, B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs and ISF/AES documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, trucking and warehouses.
• Track shipments and provide customer updates.
• Use logistics systems and forwarding platforms.
• Review invoices and carrier billing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of air and/or ocean freight forwarding experience.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation.
• Experience with a forwarding system such as CargoWise.
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and shipments.
• Experience with dangerous goods, pharma or customs is a plus.
