Experienced Locksmith Contract Job in Tucson, AZ

We are seeking an Experienced Locksmith to join our team on a contract basis in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves working in a service-oriented environment where attention to detail and customer service skills are paramount. As a Locksmith, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties through skilled lock installation and repair, as well as key cutting and duplication.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and locking systems.
• Cut and duplicate keys for residential and commercial clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and keys cut.
• Diagnose lock and security system issues and recommend solutions.
• Interact effectively with customers, providing advice and recommendations regarding lock security.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid drivers license.
• Tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Open availability including weekends.
• Pass a background check.
• Proven experience in lock installation and repair.
• Strong key cutting and duplication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
• Relevant industry-standard certifications will be considered an asset.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job.
