Job description
About the role
Schedulemyblooddraw is seeking experienced phlebotomists for a PRN/contingent mobile phlebotomy role. Services include mobile specimen collection for corporate health screenings, wellness events, and in-home patient appointments. The role focuses on venipuncture and specimen handling; vitals, charting, EKGs, and clinical assessments are not required.
This is an as-needed position. When assignments become available in your area, you will receive the details and may accept or decline each opportunity. There is no minimum hour or shift requirement.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and handle specimens.
- For home draws, coordinate the appointment time directly with the patient.
- Collect specimens for corporate health screenings, wellness events, and in-home patient appointments.
Requirements
- Experienced phlebotomists are sought.
- For home draws and small-scale screenings of up to 15 patients, provide basic collection supplies: gloves, needles, adapters, tourniquets, gauze, alcohol pads, bandages, hand sanitizer, and a sharps container.
- Specimen equipment, tubes, requisitions, shipping materials, and labels are supplied.
- All necessary supplies are provided for large-scale corporate screening events.
