Job description
Abilajacyberspace is hiring an experienced WordPress Developer with a high-performance focus. This full-time role is remote-eligible and based in Pārassāla, Tamil Nadu, India. You will build, maintain, and optimize fast, secure, user-friendly WordPress websites that support client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites for performance, speed, and user experience.
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins, and apply security best practices to protect sites from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to implement search-friendly website development practices.
- Work with designers to turn UI/UX wireframes into responsive, high-quality code.
- Test website performance and troubleshoot speed and functionality issues.
- Stay current with web development trends and technologies, and contribute to team discussions and project strategy.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- WordPress Development certification is mandatory.
- Proven WordPress expertise, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and their application in website development.
- Experience creating responsive designs for multiple devices.
- Solid knowledge of website security protocols and best practices.
Compensation and Employment
