Job description

We are seeking a qualified Facilities Manager to oversee and lead facility operations, maintenance activities, and utility services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to coordinate teams while ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:Plan, manage, coordinate, and execute facility services, utilities, repairs, and maintenance activities for assigned buildings.Oversee building operations and maintenance while developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs for all utilities and facility services.Lead and supervise daily activities of HVAC Technicians, Electricians, Mechanics, and Handyman teams to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.Conduct periodic facility inspections to evaluate equipment and property conditions and initiate repairs as needed.Prepare job estimates, proposals, and quotations for additional work outside of contracted services.Schedule maintenance, repairs, and services to minimize disruption to customer operations.Manage supplier relationships, contract compliance, milestones, and special projects.Ensure operational processes are aligned with company standards, including estimates, proposals, work orders, service reports, invoices, and payroll coordination.Identify and implement energy efficiency initiatives and facility improvement opportunities.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies, incident reporting, and accident prevention programs.Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service, follow-up, and effective communication.Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, customers, and service teams.Participate in hiring, termination processes, and employee performance evaluations.Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, utilities, or related areas.Experience managing technical teams and coordinating maintenance operations.Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and computer-based systems.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Strong leadership and teamwork skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
