Role Description The Facilities Service Team Member II is a full-time, on-site role based in Juncos. This team member supports the daily operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of MiniMed’s facilities, ensuring that workspaces, manufacturing areas, and common spaces are safe, functional, and well maintained. Typical responsibilities include performing routine inspections of building systems, coordinating minor repairs, assisting with equipment and furniture moves, and reporting facility issues to supervisors or maintenance specialists. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to support events or operational changes, following safety and compliance procedures, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. The Facilities Service Team Member II is expected to contribute to a reliable, well-organized environment that supports MiniMed’s mission and staff.
Qualifications
Experience in facilities operations and maintenance, including basic building systems support and general repair tasks.Knowledge of safety procedures, compliance standards, and best practices for maintaining a clean, secure, and hazard-free workplace.Ability to use common tools, equipment, and facility management resources, and to follow work orders or service requests accurately.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and supervisors in a diverse environment.High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in facilities, maintenance, or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in a healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environment is beneficial.Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and performing hands-on facility tasks.
