Job description
About the role
Community Living of Rhode Island is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to perform general maintenance and repairs at CLRI residential programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs at CLRI residential programs.
- Troubleshoot and address electrical issues.
- Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other general repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
Requirements
- Previous facility or residential maintenance experience preferred.
- Electrician experience required.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to travel between CLRI residences/programs as needed.
- Must be dependable, organized, and responsive to maintenance needs.
