Job description
Intermediano Inc. is hiring a skilled Fiber & Coax Splicing Technician in North Vernon, Indiana. This full-time role is essential for installing, maintaining, and splicing fiber and coaxial cables within HFC Networks to ensure reliable communication services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform splicing, installation, and maintenance of fiber optic and coaxial cables
- Conduct thorough testing to verify optimal HFC network performance
- Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity issues promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of cable routes, splicing schedules, and test results
- Collaborate with technical teams to plan and execute network projects efficiently
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company standards during all operations
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as needed
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Proficient in fiber and coaxial cable splicing, installation, and maintenance techniques
- Experience using coaxial cable testing equipment
- Telecommunications certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting methods
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
