Job description
fieldservicesnetwork is hiring a Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling Technician for hands-on commercial and enterprise field projects in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting fiber and low-voltage network infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Install, terminate, splice, test, and maintain fiber optic and Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a cabling.
- Build and organize racks, patch panels, and network closets.
- Perform OTDR and cable certification testing.
- Troubleshoot, label, and document low-voltage infrastructure.
What You’ll Need
- Experience with fiber optic and structured cabling work.
- Knowledge of low-voltage tools and installation practices.
- A valid driver’s license.
- BICSI, FOA, or Network+ certifications are a plus.
Work Authorization
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship may be available and will be discussed during the interview process.
Pay and Benefits
