Job description
About the role
The Judge Group is seeking a detail-oriented Debit Acquirer Reconciliation Analyst to support settlement, reconciliation, and financial control activities in a payments environment. The role focuses on accurate reconciliation of network settlements, financial adjustments, fees, and suspense items, while maintaining the integrity of financial records.
Success requires analytical skills, experience with financial reconciliations, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to investigate discrepancies, perform detailed research, and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Availability during morning business hours is highly preferred due to daily settlement activities.
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation and financial analysis: Perform daily reconciliations of debit network settlements, adjustments, fees, chargebacks, and suspense account activity.
- Ensure financial adjustments received from payment networks are accurately reflected in internal reconciliation inventories.
- Analyze bank statements, settlement reports, general ledger data, and transaction records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Research exceptions and manually resolve reconciliation variances when required.
- Document reconciliation activities, findings, and issue resolutions.
- Settlement and funding operations: Monitor and reconcile Wire and ACH settlement activity for timely and accurate processing.
- Provide daily cash projections and communicate funding position updates to Treasury and other stakeholders.
