Financial Controller

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Financial Controller to own the day-to-day accounting operations of a fast-moving, project-driven contractor. You’ll be the backbone of our finance function—driving job costing, WIP reporting, financial accuracy, and strategic insight that supports growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, general ledger and monthly close.
• Own job costing and monthly WIP schedules; track project profitability and cost performance.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, POs, change orders, contract billing, and scheduled of values.
• Manage cash position, banking, insurance, bonding, and compliance.
• Mentor accounting staff and drive process improvement.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and construction accounting, including percentage-of-completion and job costing.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Active driver’s license; able to pass drug screen and background check.
