Job description
Performix Business Services LLC is hiring a Fire & Security Technician for a contract position in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this hands-on role, you will install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and security systems at client facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Install fire alarm and security systems in accordance with applicable industry standards.
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on installed systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair alarm systems and related equipment.
- Work with clients to understand their security needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Complete accurate installation and service reports promptly.
- Keep up with new fire and security technologies and methods.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience installing and maintaining fire and security systems.
- Proficiency with relevant system-management software.
- Industry-standard fire alarm and security certifications are preferred.
