Job description
Tasks
- Assists the Transportation Manager with the supervision of garage staff responsible for the repair and maintenance of division owned fleet.
- Provide supervision of the work of the transportation mechanic staff on division fleet vehicles ensuring compliance with Transport Canada and SGI Commercial Carrier Regulations and the high standards set by the school division.
- Provide daily supervision for transportation mechanics and shop assistants, including prioritizing and scheduling the work assignments and on-call duties and approval of overtime and leaves of absence.
- Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of all Prairie Spirit School Division Fleet Vehicles.
