Flight Control Engineer in Manila, Philippines

Michael Mallari is seeking a highly skilled Flight Control Engineer to join our team in Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines. This full-time role focuses on the design, simulation, and development of advanced flight control systems for innovative rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft, including multi-propulsor eVTOL and CTOL platforms. Responsibilities and Duties: Develop complex VTOL flight dynamics simulations incorporating high-fidelity rotor dynamics. Design, develop, and implement optimal and adaptive flight control and guidance laws for reconfigurable aircraft. Create flight test maneuvers for system verification and identification. Perform system identification in both time and frequency domains. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent. 10+ years of experience in flight controls and simulation engineering. Experience designing UAS and manned aircraft. Strong understanding of complex aircraft dynamics including aerodynamics, structures, and control systems. Proficiency in simulating nonlinear complex aircraft subsystems and systems. Expertise in frequency and time domain system analysis. Hands-on experience with control system simulation, implementation, testing, and verification. Familiarity with embedded real-time control system implementation. Knowledge of system identification from flight test data. Understanding of FAA and Military standards related to aircraft control system design. This position is based in Manila and is not remote eligible. Competitive salary offered at ₱1,400,000 per year.
