About the role

Chino Valley Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Floor Technician to maintain cleanliness in the hospital and adjacent buildings. The role may require traveling between facilities without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned hard-surface flooring projects, including stripping, waxing and refinishing; carpet extracting and bonnet buffing; and restorative scrubbing of ceramic tile.
• Perform floor scrubbing and stripping, refinishing, carpet shampooing and extraction, and floor buffing and burnishing.
• Clean floor corners, edges, baseboards, elevator tracks and stairwells; remove trash; and perform other floor and carpet maintenance.
• Clean upholstery and set up conference rooms in assigned hospital areas.
• Work individually and as part of a team, complete other assigned tasks, and respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios and pagers.
• Work under the general supervision of the EVS Director, Manager, Supervisor or Lead.
