Food Truck Cashier

SCHEDULE:
• Days, hours & locations will vary based on the food truck schedule

PAY:
• Depending on experience
• Same-day pay

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders accurately
• Answer customers about menu items and ingredients
• Process cash, credit, debit card and other accepted payments
• Handle money accurately and responsibly
• Provide exceptional customer service from start to finish
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team
• Ensure customers receive the correct order
• Keep the cashier and counter service area clean and organized
• Assist with stocking and basic food truck duties when needed

REQUIREMENTS:
• MUST BE ON TIME — punctuality is extremely important
• Excellent customer service is a MUST
• Must have dependable transportation
• Must be willing and able to travel to different food truck locations
• Must be available to work on days and locations that we schedule
• Must be able to lift and move items
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Must be able to follow directions and work with a team
• Must have a positive attitude
• Previous cashier, restaurant or food-service experience is preferred
• ServeSafe certification is highly preferred
