Job description
UItech is hiring a full-time Frontend Developer in Caracas, Distrito Federal, Venezuela. Join a collaborative, agile team building responsive web applications and delivering excellent user experiences. This is an on-site role and is open to junior candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and React.
- Integrate APIs and RESTful services to support application functionality and user experience.
- Work with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications and create intuitive interactions.
- Optimize frontend applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
- Review code, participate in pair programming, and follow frontend development best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues to ensure reliable application performance.
- Keep current with evolving web technologies and apply relevant improvements.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience integrating APIs and understanding RESTful services.
- Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
- One to three years of frontend development experience; junior candidates are welcome.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles is preferred.
Team and Reporting
You’ll collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers in an agile, cross-functional team. The role reports to the Lead Developer.
