Responsibilities And Expectations

Key Responsibilities

Build Client Relationships

Conduct professional client conversations that build and sustain trust and credibilityDiscover key life events happening with clients to ensure bank products and services are meeting financial needsRecommend and provide accounts, loans, and services that match clients’ financial needsPromote bank products and services within and outside the bankProactively make referrals to bank partners that result in additional revenue to the bankDemonstrate operational soundness to minimize risk exposure or loss and maintain quality productionAdhere to operating procedures and protocols

Deliver a Consistently Superior Client Experience

Demonstrate excellent customer service skillsBehave in a manner to create a welcoming, engaging, professional environment for clients to experienceProactively resolve client issues in absence of or as directed by Bank ManagerRespond to routine client inquiries and requestsPerform teller duties as needed and process client transactionsApprove transactions for other employees within your assigned authority limitAssist with bank opening and/or closing as directed

Demonstrate Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations

Understand and follow applicable laws and regulations for your job responsibilities, including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethics and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security, Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements, policies, and proceduresFollow deposit account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as appropriate for this positionActively work with clients to understand each client’s normal account activity, as appropriate for this positionComplete periodic compliance training

Requirements

Required Skills & Education

High School Diploma or equivalentExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsComputer proficiency in Windows-based systemsAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentialityStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCapable of working with a team to determine solutionsAbility to travel to Wichita, KS during first week of employment for required week-long training
