Position: GCP Developer with Telecom background
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced GCP Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications and solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate should have expertise in GCP services, programming, API development, serverless architecture, and cloud-based data processing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Google Cloud Platform.
Build and maintain cloud-native applications, microservices, and REST APIs.
Develop serverless applications using Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
Develop and manage data pipelines and integrations across cloud services.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployments.
Apply IAM, security policies, encryption, and monitoring best practices.
Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and cloud costs.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or Node.js.
Experience with GCP services:
BigQuery
Cloud Storage
Cloud Functions
Cloud Run
Pub/Sub
Cloud SQL
Compute Engine
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
Understanding of IAM, networking, security, and cloud monitoring.
Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
Good to Have
Google Cloud certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Developer).
