Join Our Team as a General Physician or Dentist at Las Obras del Espíritu Santo in San José, Costa Rica Las Obras del Espíritu Santo is a compassionate, community-focused organization dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare and dental services to underserved populations in San José. We are seeking a committed General Physician or Dentist to join our full-time team and make a meaningful impact through accessible, empathetic care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive medical or dental examinations to accurately diagnose patient conditions. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in community outreach programs to promote health awareness and extend services to underserved groups. Maintain accurate and compliant medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems where applicable. Required and Preferred Qualifications Professional degree in Medicine or Dentistry from an accredited institution. Active licensure to practice medicine or dentistry in Costa Rica. Strong teamwork, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. Reporting directly to the Medical Director or Dental Supervisor, you will work closely with nurses, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional care.
