Hestony is seeking a dedicated and skilled Code 14 Driver to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. This full-time role is essential for safely transporting goods while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining delivery schedules and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a Code 14 vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and company procedures while driving.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery updates and issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent Hestony positively during deliveries.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve driving skills and stay updated on industry regulations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Code 14 Driver's License is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
• Good physical condition to handle long hours on the road.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

You will report directly to the Fleet Manager and collaborate closely with other drivers, dispatch personnel, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Salary: ZAR 28000 per month
