This is much more than a traditional HR role. As the HR Manager, you'll oversee the complete employee lifecycle while partnering with leadership to build an engaged, high-performing workforce.Responsibilities include:Lead all Human Resources operations for the Fletcher facilityPartner directly with executive leadership on people strategyManage employee relations, investigations, coaching, and performance managementLead recruitment efforts for professional, technical, and manufacturing positionsOversee onboarding and employee engagement initiativesAdminister payroll and employee benefitsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsDevelop and maintain HR policies and best practicesSupport compensation planning and salary benchmarkingTrack HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and workforce analyticsCoordinate training and leadership development initiativesMaintain HR systems and employee recordsSupervise and mentor the HR AdministratorFoster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture
The ideal candidate will bring:7+ years of progressive Human Resources experiencePrevious experience leading HR within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong employee relations and employment law knowledgePayroll and benefits administration experienceExperience supporting plant leadership and executive teamsHRIS and Microsoft Office proficiencyOutstanding communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive, solutions-oriented leadership styleProfessional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is a plusBonus points if you've worked through a PEO transition or HR system implementation.
