About the role

Fenwick & West is seeking an associate to support its growing Technology Transactions practice. The practice handles complex, innovative technology transactions for prominent and startup technology, digital media, and consumer technology companies in the United States and internationally. It works closely with the Corporate Group, which is consistently ranked among the top startup, IPO, and M&A practices in technology and life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial transactions for earlier-stage and later-stage or public technology companies.
• Advise on the intellectual property and commercial aspects of M&A and other corporate transactions.

Requirements

• Substantial law firm experience and a deep understanding of intellectual property and contract law.
• Experience with complex commercial transactions of various kinds for earlier-stage and later-stage or public technology companies.
• Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be barred in the state of the office applied to or eligible to sit for or waive into the next bar exam.
