Job description
Tasks
- Represent asylum seekers and refugee minors in court, at USCIS, and on appeal
- Determine eligibility and file immigration applications
- Lead community workshops and partner with local organizations
- Supervise law students in a client-centered setting
Requirements
- JD with immigration experience: minors, asylum, removal court
- Admitted to the Michigan or another state bar
- Strong writing, research, and public speaking skills
- Cultural respect; able to appear in Detroit and Chicago
