Infrastructure Operations Engineer

About the role

The Infrastructure Operations Engineer is part of Latham & Watkins’ Technology & Information Services team. The role supports the implementation, maintenance, support, and decommissioning of physical and virtual server and storage systems across the firm’s global technology platform.

The role is located in the Las Vegas office. It may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure server and storage platforms are consistently configured, secure, and reliable.
• Perform routine operational tasks, including system patching, upgrades, backups, and recovery testing, in line with firm policies and change management processes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and service requests, working with the Design and Engineering Team and vendors to drive timely resolution and root cause analysis.
