Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney

About the role

AJ Chambers US is presenting an opportunity to join a well-established full-service law firm with a respected insurance practice. The role involves substantive insurance litigation matters within a collaborative and supportive team, with meaningful responsibility, strong partner exposure, and the opportunity to develop specialist insurance coverage experience while building on an existing litigation background.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys while maintaining responsibility for their own matters. Insurance coverage experience is viewed as a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle substantive insurance litigation matters.
• Maintain responsibility for assigned matters while working closely with experienced attorneys.
• Work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant litigation experience.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.
• Insurance coverage experience is a plus.
• Admission to the New York Bar is a plus.
