Investment Banking Associate

I am partnering with a leading global investment bank with a highly established Technology investment banking franchise and thousands of professionals across offices worldwide.
The firm has built a strong reputation advising high-growth software and technology companies, private equity sponsors, founders, and strategic acquirers on complex M&A and capital markets transactions. The Technology team has deep expertise across the software ecosystem and works on transactions ranging from middle-market M&A to larger strategic and sponsor-backed mandates.
The Opportunity:
The team is looking to add an Investment Banking Analysts / Associates in New York City. This is an opportunity to join an established Technology franchise and work directly with senior bankers and clients across a strong pipeline of M&A, private equity, and growth equity transactions.
The Associate will have meaningful responsibility throughout the transaction process and will work closely with founders, CEOs, private equity sponsors, and strategic acquirers.
Responsibilities
Execute M&A, private equity, and growth equity transactions from pitch through closingBuild and review financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materialsOwn critical workstreams across live transactionsPrepare CIMs, management presentations, pitch books, valuation materials, and other client deliverablesConduct detailed industry, company, and market analysis across software and technologyWork directly with senior bankers, management teams, financial sponsors, and strategic buyersHelp mentor and develop junior team members
Ideal Background
1+ years of investment banking experienceExperience in Technology, Software, or a closely related sectorStrong financial modeling and valuation capabilitiesProven ability to manage multiple transaction workstreams in a demanding environmentStrong communication, analytical, and presentation skillsHigh academic achievementSeries 63 and 79 preferred
