Job description
MRCC is seeking a dedicated Part-Time IT Technician to join our Evansville, Indiana team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional technical support in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance of computer systems and networks, enabling our staff to work efficiently. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with timely, effective solutions. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals. Provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person to address user inquiries promptly. Assist with network maintenance and monitoring to maximize uptime and performance. Document issues and resolutions in the IT support ticketing system for tracking. Collaborate on IT projects to contribute to system improvements and upgrades. Participate in training staff on new technology systems implemented within the company. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma with relevant technical experience. Proficient in troubleshooting, technical support, networking, and installation processes. Prior IT support experience preferred. Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective user support. 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related field. As an IT Technician at MRCC, you will report directly to the IT Manager and work closely with other IT professionals in a cooperative environment focused on technological excellence.
