Job description
MRCC is hiring a part-time IT Technician in Evansville, Indiana. Join our team to deliver outstanding technical support and maintain optimal computer systems and networks in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and effectively for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
- Provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person to address user inquiries.
- Assist with network maintenance and monitoring to ensure maximum uptime.
- Document all issues and resolutions in the IT support ticketing system.
- Collaborate on IT projects to improve and upgrade systems.
- Participate in staff training for new technology implementations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma with relevant technical experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, technical support, networking, and installation.
- Prior IT support experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- 1-2 years of IT support or related experience.
As an IT Technician at MRCC, you will report directly to the IT Manager and work closely with other IT professionals to enhance our technological infrastructure. This is a part-time, on-site position in Evansville, Indiana.
Compensation: $20 per hour.
