IT User Experience Manager

About the role

This is a newly established Digital Workplace UX function focused on improving employees' experience with and adoption of workplace technology.

Tasks

• Lead a small team while personally evaluating new tools, identifying usability issues, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and helping ensure deployments are ready for employees and support teams.
• Work spans Microsoft 365, endpoint technologies, IT service management, and employee-facing IT solutions.
• Work with department leaders to incorporate user experience considerations earlier in technology decisions.

Requirements

• Hands-on UX and UAT experience: Personally conducting usability testing, evaluating user workflows, identifying edge cases, and validating deployment readiness.
• IT workplace technology experience: Understanding enterprise IT support, service delivery, technology rollouts, and employee adoption through training and documentation.
• Direct people management and stakeholder influence: Experience supervising employees, developing a team, and advocating for better user experiences with department leadership.

Schedule

• Onsite Monday through Friday, with occasional travel.
