Job description
Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain telemetry instrumentation for Java-based applications.
- Implement observability solutions using logs, metrics, traces, and events.
- Develop and optimize monitoring frameworks to proactively identify system issues.
- Build dashboards, alerts, and service health monitoring solutions.
- Integrate OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing across enterprise services.
- Contribute to capacity planning, disaster recovery, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to improve reliability.
- Define and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Automate operational workflows and incident response processes.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Enhance platform reliability, scalability, and resiliency.
