Your missionWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented junior lawyer with some years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will support the legal function in managing legal matters and providing day-to-day legal assistance to the business. Working closely with colleagues and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and contribute to the smooth execution of business operations. This is a great opportunity for a legal professional eager to develop their career in a dynamic and international environment.
What You’ll Be DoingContracts: Support the drafting of commercial contracts, including procurement agreements, sales agreements, and other contracts arising in the company’s day-to-day operations, with particular focus on legal issues in the vehicle dealership sector and consumer law matters.Review of legal framework: provide legal support in evaluating regulation, drafting reports and newsletters.External Law Firms: Support the handling invoice payment to external Law Firms and coordination matters.Compliance Policies: Assist in monitoring, implementing, and maintaining legal compliance policies and procedures required by headquarters.Internal Resources: Contribute to the development of internal guidelines, contract templates, and legal training materials.Administrative matters: store and handle contract data bases. Prepare reports of contracts and other legal matters handled by legal team. Organization of meetings, preparation of protocols, etc.Filings with different government or authorities (for example, public registry of commerce, etc)Corporate matters: handling corporate books.
What You'll BringDegree in Law.At least 2/3 years of professional legal experience as an in-house counsel or in law firm providing legal support legal teams.Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.Strong communication skills and willingness to work in an international environment.Hands on professional.Adaptability, skills to learn fast, experience in systems, or capability to learn tech tools and systems.Availability to work at the office is a must.
