Junior SOC Analyst

About the role

BIM Group of Companies is looking for passionate and responsible Junior SOC Analysts to join its Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) Team. The selected candidates will support cybersecurity monitoring, security incident analysis, and cyber defense operations for enterprise and government-related environments. The role requires close coordination with ministries and government departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity alerts from SOC security platforms and perform daily SOC monitoring activities.
• Perform initial investigations of security events and suspicious activities, and analyze logs from different security systems.
• Identify potential threats and escalate incidents according to SOC procedures.
• Support incident response processes and cybersecurity improvement activities.
• Prepare security reports and operational documentation, and maintain incident records and investigation details.
• Communicate professionally with ministry officers and related stakeholders.
• Provide cybersecurity support during onsite activities and travel between SOC office (NPT, Yangon) and ministry locations when required.
• Explain cybersecurity-related issues clearly to technical and non-technical users, and maintain professional behavior when representing the organization.

• Strong teamwork and learning attitude.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
