Job description
Skadden is hiring a full-time Knowledge Systems Web Developer in New York, NY. Build and maintain web applications that help improve how knowledge is shared and used across platforms. This is an on-site role and is not eligible for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive web applications using Angular and React.
- Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to gather requirements and turn them into technical specifications.
- Build and maintain scalable Python backend services that support front-end features.
- Use CSS to create accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
- Test and debug applications to support reliable performance.
- Track web development trends and technologies and apply relevant solutions to projects.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrated web development experience and a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency with Angular, React, Python, and CSS.
- Experience with web development tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Agile or Scrum experience is preferred.
Team and Compensation
Join Skadden’s collaborative Knowledge Systems team and report to the Engineering Manager. You’ll work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and developers to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
