Role: Lab Support Technician
Location:1750 W Rose Garden Ln, Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Duration: 6 Months + Potential Extensions
Experience: 1–3 Years
Rate: $20/hr
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lab Support Technician with 1–3 years of industry experience to support laboratory operations, system maintenance, software installations and test bench readiness.
The successful candidate will ensure laboratory equipment, systems and test environments remain operational and ready for engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure and maintain Windows operating systems and software applications.Perform software upgrades, patch installations and new release deployments.Support basic connectivity and setup of laboratory equipment, switches, controllers and drives.Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.Prepare, organise and restore test benches and test environments.Maintain laboratory infrastructure and equipment.Coordinate with engineering and technical support teams.Document installations, configurations and laboratory activities.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.1–3 years of relevant technical support experience.Hands-on Windows installation, configuration, software deployment and patching experience.Basic networking and hardware connectivity knowledge.Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, five days per week.
Preferred Experience
• IT Service Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support or Lab Support experience.Previous experience supporting engineering or testing laboratories.Candidates already based in Phoenix or the surrounding Deer Valley area.
