Job description

Labor Attorney (Bilingual)Position: Full-Time, In-OfficeWe are seeking a bilingual Labor Attorney licensed to practice in Panama to join ourteam as our in-house legal counsel. This position combines legal responsibilities withoffice administration and client support. This position supports an orthopedic medicalpractice based in Miami, Florida.Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.Key ResponsibilitiesLegal* Advise the company on labor law compliance and employment-related matters.* Draft, review, and revise employment agreements, legal documents, policies, andcorrespondence.* Serve as the primary point of contact during visits or inspections from the SocialSecurity Administration (Caja de Seguro Social – CSS), the Ministry of Labor(MITRADEL), or other government authorities.* Prepare and provide required documentation to government agencies whenrequested.* Stay current on changes to Panamanian labor laws and ensure company compliance.Office Duties* Maintain organized legal, corporate, and administrative records.* Support day-to-day office administrative tasks and general office operations.* Assist with internal documentation, scheduling, and other administrative duties asassigned.Client Communication* Update and maintain client records, ensuring information is accurate and organized.* Assist in answering incoming phone calls and directing inquiries appropriately.* Communicate professionally with clients regarding documentation, appointments, andfollow-up requests.* Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality andprofessionalism.
Required Qualifications* Licensed to practice law in Panama.* Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
