Licensed Optician or Optical Sales

About the role

Eyetastic Services® is seeking a Licensed Optician or Optician to join a high-end, patient-focused private practice in New York City (Manhattan area). Full-time and part-time positions are available. The practice emphasizes luxury sales, exceptional patient experiences, and building relationships. Comprehensive training is provided for unfamiliar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill eyewear and contact lens prescriptions with precision and care.
• Guide patients through frame and lens selection, considering style and function.
• Perform eyewear fittings, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Deliver a luxury sales and client experience.
• Build and manage a personal book of business.
• Maintain inventory, display, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver patient care.

Requirements

• NY Optician Licensure for licensed positions; unlicensed positions are available.
• Previous optical or luxury retail sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong sales and client service skills; self-driven and dependable.
• Ability to build relationships and manage a book of business.
• Excellent troubleshooting and eyewear adjustment abilities.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a passion for the optical field.
